Trying to identify correct crown vintage Air King

I have a vintage Air King, from 1956, 6552, 1030 caliber. It has a generic crown and I need to find out what would have come with it originally.

I’m sorry I can’t help with the crown but there’s something I really like about the Air Kings and Datejust’s from the 50’s era. I like your watch a lot. Someone from here will most certainly be able to help you.

Tom here are two photos of the 5.3 mm crown on my 1958 model 5500 Air King.

Thanks for the info. I wasn’t sure what to ask for when ordering a replacement.

When I replaced the crown on my 6534 the PN was 24-530-0. There is also a Brevet 5.3 mm crown that will fit I believe, take a look at some other 6552's and see which crown they used.

Cheers,
Rick

The 6552 below is for sale on Ebay and Chrono24 with a 24-530-0 crown although that doesn't guarantee that it hasn't been replaced.
