Was just at RM Boston hanging out for a bit. Got to meet Aurora Strauss. Just a lovely person all around . Going to try and sign my kid up for her kids racing school when time comes. Strong rolemodel for kids/females.

I was impressed with her as a person. Makes me that much more satisfied moving into Richard Mille knowing their approach to sponsors and their family unit.

Actually yes. I spent 45 talking to her about as she came in from her jog...about how she got into racing and her school As well as what she represents... very empowering. Also she chooses her sponsors and I was surprised at the anecdotal support she gets from her sponsors make me want to support the brand.

Just so genuine.

It is well known that Richard had special bond with RM ambassadors, that surpass "celebrity/pretty face on the poster for money" relationship... glad to see this is still the case as number od ambassadors grown big in recent years...

Thanks for the reply.

Does this mean all the other RM boutiques are independently owned and not truly connected with RM directly?

Or does this mean all the others *except* for Aspen are partly (or wholly) owned by RM?

Thanks!

I’m new to this as well. Assume the 35 and 55 are in the same boat as well? Ie I need to buy relationship pieces before being considered?

You basically have to spend 300k +/- to build a relationship. If you plan on buying 1 piece go grey. If u plan on buying more than 1 piece over time the AD route.

And yes, the 35-02, 11-03, 055, 67-02, are all relationship pieces.

I don’t know about this statement. I’m a GREAT client, but I really feel that if you’re not buying tourbs in this hot market, you’re a second class citizen.

I got all my pieces before RM was the hot commodity. 6-11s, 5-11-03s, 2-35-01s, 4-35-02s. 2- 55s.

Now today- I don’t think I’d get shit.

I’ve also bought everything in the middle- but my point is that with things so tight, if and when you get access, it’s gonna be one model.

I hope it goes back- these are expensive.

I truly hate how easily both RG and TI scratch on the 11-03. Always find myself saying, guess I can live with it. Lol

Me too. It's actually a strong deterrent for me to go with a Ti 11-03. It's weird how RM's Ti scratches more easily than other brand's Ti watches.

I'm not sure why.

I think it’s the way they do the brush on their cases. You can literally slightly tap your watch on a piece of plastic and it’ll get hairline 😂

Oh well

Makes me wonder if they’re just sitting in a room asking “how idiotic can we get and still get someone to drop 100K on”

I’m never going to be that rich - or idiotic!
