Jack Nicklaus watch auction predictions

I know there have been a few discussion threads about this, but not a lot. Let's forget Brando and Newman for the moment. How much do you think the Jack Nicklaus watch will bring at auction this week. Closest without going over wins absolutely nothing. Ignore and fees and/or commissions for this exercise.

I say $11 million.

Yes, his foundation supporting children's health care.

We'll know soon enough but I don't think some of you understand the gravity of his career and the role this watch played in it. I could be a little high but if Ibelieved it would go for under a million I would be registering to bid...and I'm not

These auctions seem to have surprising numbers when all is said and done. I'm glad to see it's for charity and feel this is also going to impact how much people bid.

For the most part I've got no idea but wouldn't be surprised if it went for over $120,000.00 USD. Based on who owned it and his achievements I would expect this to sell for many times more. Can't wait to see what the final numbers are.

It's a charity donation. Easily 7 figures. I will guess 2 million.

Got to be a good few million i would think. I am not a golfer but hey the guy is a golfing legend. Plenty of rich folk play golf. Imagine the bragging rights with this on your wrist at the 19th hole.

I am saying $3.65m.

Hope it goes for more as its all for his Charity, wonder if they throw in a meet and greet with the guy if it goes for big bucks.

Edit: Meant to say, I wonder if Rolex will give him a new one to replace it. Being an Ambassador and all that.

I have to agree it will be over $1 Million. Especially since it's for charity. There are a lot of very wealthy folks that know Jack and will bid it up.

3-5m + buyers premium.

It's nice he's doing this so he's alive to see the joy it'll bring but with these things, being deceased adds value.

Hope he lives to be 101 but that's the truth with memorabilia.

As I've stated in similar posts about this same thread I believe that based upon the history behind this watch and all that Jack has done with this watch I'd say 5-7 million

Being for charity, the price will NOT be a market indicator, but many will proclaim it as such. I think this watch is of greater importance than the Newman watch due to the well documented wearing.
