Bargain Sale, Who's In

Hmm only $60K for a MAC computer. Sounds like a total bargain, I'm going to go get 4 right now before they sell out, who else is getting one

In all seriousness I'm sure it's a great computer with all the upgrades once all said and done but $60k?? jeez

If nothing else, it would look fantastic with a banana taped to it.

For those who make money via their computers power, it totally makes sense. Our company just ordered 2 of them at around 40K each for our video production team. Their old computers were just as expensive as the Macs. Enterprise grade graphics processors and cpus are always priced higher - but for us, saving the editors only 30 minutes a week would pay for these in about 6 months - so it’s totally worth it for us.

Yea 120-150K each so when you put it that way, it's a total bargain. You can get 2 apples for the price of 1 banana and they won't rot in a week

In all seriousness I agree with you there. I'm sure these aren't marketed for Joe Smith sitting at home reading the paper or browsing the internet. The computers power and specs are impressive so yes for those that make their money off the computers power I'm sure it's worth it. Was meant as a Tuesday conversation starter

- I see these being popular for video/audio/graphics pros as those are likely the only tools that will push these hard. Possibly Machine Learning/AI as well - but that really depends on if the cloud solutions don't solve your problem faster for you.
