Nobody knows the answer to this question, OP. You either put in the work at the AD and hope or you take the shortcut with a trusted seller and pay. That’s it, it depends entirely on how lucky you feel

He’s constantly so far off the mark i don’t even look at him as a dealer. Unworn subs should be at 13k as a ceiling. Just spoke with 2 dealers recently and both were at 13k.

Wouldnt hurt to try the AD way since you still have a year. If that doesnt work there will always be Subs in the grey, and who knows maybe the market will be better a year from now. Or not.

Davidsw is expensive and has gotten ruder over the years…
AkaTakuya and ocwatchguy are a bit cheaper with less inventory/selection

Fwiw I bought 3 watches from davidsw and all were smooth transactions but don’t think I will buy more from his team…Timepiece Gentleman vibes

Try the AD route. If you run out of time you can buy from a "trusted seller" next year and have the watch within a day or two.

Chase and Jared Aire also good sellers here, as said above check the classifieds if the AD route does note work.
