You do know that virtually every G-shock is this size and there are thousands (millions?) of people wearing them.
The bigger G-Shocks are typically 16-17mm thick, not 23. The DSC head-on shots look ~ok on sufficiently large wrists, as they hide the ~2:1 width/thickness aspect ratio.

That is way too big... makes the DEEPSEA look like a toy watch, very interesting nonetheless, thanks for sharing!

I was able to try one on at my AD today, as well. I could probably wear it, on my 8" wrist, I'm just not sure why I would. Maybe for the hardcore collector who has one of everything...

It's a cool piece of engineering, no doubt. I would love to own one as a keepsake due to my fascination with dive watches and the history behind them, particularly from this brand. However, very few people would actually be able to pull off wearing this comfortably or at all.

Thanks for sharing these pictures! Glad to see some of the first actual shots of the piece.

Wow, that thing is crazy huge! Would be cool to see one in person and try it on, but definitely a hard pass for me to own it.

That thing is insane. Wish my AD had one so I could try it on. I imagine it would look ridiculous on my 7 inch wrist.

Depending on How many they make, it might be limited edition. If Arnold Schwarzenegger or Sylvester Stallone starts wearing one, I could see this as taking off. Definitely would have to see it in person.

My favorite G-Shock on a 6.7" wrist.

This watch only makes sense if you view it as a Novelty. Not a real thing intended to be worn under water.

The ugliest, most absurd watch Rolex have ever made. It’s like they released it as a joke to see how far they can push people who will buying made by Rolex.

22k too

Yes, and even more so when you take into account that the Submariner is too big for many people on TRF.
