Yes … one to let me know they had my “Bluesy” in.
Yes … many to remind me it’s Christmas time, and they have lots of diamonds, necklaces, rings, in stock. |

My man....I can't even get a call back or a returned email after I write to say thank you for their time and ask some simple follow up questions.

3 calls over 4 years, but only to tell me the watch I asked for is in. My SA/AD doesn’t call me offering random stuff.

If I express interest in a reference, and the watch is in, I get a call.
I’ve only ever been called once for a random watch I didn’t express interest in, (BLNR) which I turned down. |

I’ve got my name down for the 1st time at my 3 local dealers, but only did this about a month or so ago…I’m thinking February I’ll get the call for either an Air King or Sub Date.

I got a call for TT blue sub that I never asked for in 7-21. Advised that I may be interested in a TT black. Then got a call and passed.
in calls that I made, I was offered a TT seadweller, sundust DJ and OP.--nothing I wanted to buy. |

11 months waiting on AD 1 = zip.
10 months waiting on AD 2 = zip. Regular contact with both = yes. Purchases at AD2 = yes. Maintaining patience for a full year with each = yes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This is me. It’s so rude. Part of customer service to be polite, just shows how little they have to try. It’s very frustrating.

No calls for Rolex as I have given up years ago even asking them for models. I do get calls for Tudor/Grand Seiko/Seiko/Panerai or just about any other watch I am interested in.

Took me 4 years from what was watches of Switzerland in Glasgow, has since changed to Rolex boutique. I bought a ladies datejust, deep sea sea dweller and a pelagos and waited over 4 years for a GMT, phoned once every couple of months had all but given up until last week when I got an email from them offering a green and black gmt on jubilee! so it was worth the wait!

Started with a cold email to local AD as we came out of Covid looking for an SD43. Got the call a couple of weeks later and when I picked up, my SA asked, "what would you like next?"
Have been fortunate enough to have that experience with her three more times now (get the call, pick up, and "what's next?"). Have yet to get called or emailed for random pieces. |

If my AD will put me on a list, I get the call when the watch arrives.
They have turned me down for a black SS Sky Dweller which I went on to buy grey, the 116610LV, also bought grey, and the SS BLRO which I finally got on the list for in 2020 after asking them on several occasions since the day it was launched. Once they confirm I'm on, I know it will turn up. None of the "registry of interest" or buying unwanted stuff BS. Luck of the draw really, if I lived somewhere else my reply could be different. Happily I have a professional AD. I've heard first hand some of the behaviour they have to manage from people who want something they can't have. COVID was a reset. Appointments only, which has been relaxed somewhat but they don't have a fully open door policy any more, any request in writing, preferably email, no telephone enquiries or negotiations and more recently, hot watches for locals and long standing customers only. As supply continues to close on demand they will probably revise their policies, but one of the reasons why supply and demand are closer now is because they have more effectively managed and limited the hailstorm of phone calls and walk-ins they used to get every day. They are not, at the moment, desperate to move more watches. |

I got super lucky this year. Made 3 requests. Received 3 watches.
1. BLNR 2. WG Pepsi GMT w/ blue dial 3. 36MM Day Date w/ Green Ombre dial and a diamond bezel At this point, really focused on 2 watches: 1. Aquanaut 2. Green OP

I don't have a relationship with the current AD in town, so they don't have any contact information for me and I'm not on any lists.
I'm not in the market for any current production Rolex references at this time.
