White dialed Seamaster 300

Stopped by the Omega boutique earlier to drop my wife’s watch off for a new battery. Saw the white dial in the flesh and it is really nice. Best color of the bunch IMO. This one was on rubber, which suits the watch very well. The 42mm feels smaller on the wrist. The short lugs hug the wrist and make it a really comfy watch.

Also tried on the ceramic 300 yet again. I’ve been eying this one since it came out but was waiting for the white dial to compare. Not sure I’ve made up my mind! Both beautiful.

I love the ceramic, however the matte dial is quite underwhelming to me. I personally still think the SS black one is the best of the bunch.

Thanks. I’m a big fan of that one as well. However most of my watches have black dials. Would be nice to mix it up a bit.

Ceramic is the best of the bunch IMO followed by the White , cool thing about the Ceramic is that you can use any of the Dark or Grey Side straps as they both have 21mm lug spacing.

Picked up the white dial a couple of weeks ago, and absolutely love it! Really crisp & clean look that offers something beyond the usual black/blue /silver dial watch (as nice as those are). If you are tempted, I highly recommend it!

I really like the white dial on the rubber strap. That is probably how I will buy it. I also like the ceramic but at the price point they are asking, there are too many other options I would go with first. Even pre-owned the ceramic is a little too much for me.

I picked up the white dial 300M this week. Wearing it on rubber but have steel bracelet as well. Really like the fit and feel with rubber. The white is also a nice alternative to my black divers. I have owned Great White since early 2000s so will have two white dial options now

I think the ceramic looks great on you. White too, but white dials (esp really white ones) don’t do it for me really.

OK, so since you have both..............

1. Which do you prefer?

2. How’s about a side by side pic?

The white looks phenomenal. I think all of these turned out well and I have my eye on a tt blue Seamaster on rubber right now.

Love the white, went in to store certain I'd be buying it on rubber but wore small on me, walked out with the ceramic, which I was unaware of but feel in love with immediately. Still may end up with the white eventually but on bracelet.

Looking at those pictures I think black is the more visually striking combination. Suits the wave dial a little better, but both are great
