time incorrect for posts
the time at the top of the screen, which is in red, is correct.
but if i make a post, the "post" time shows one hour earler. this started happening when we went to daylight saving time (one hour ahead). it seems it changed the 'clock' at the top of the screen, but not the posting time. fyi. |

Go to Quick Links > Edit Options and change your DST settings to 'DST corrections always on'.

Not sure Mark, I don't quite know what the various settings actually mean... but we do know that auto detect does not work with the new DST dates. It could be that after the old DST date sometime in April, the time will then be off again but IDK as of yet.

The time is an easy fix:
Go to your 'user cp' (see the strip along the top and click 'user cp') Next click on 'edit options' (this is listed along the left hand side of the page). Next scroll down to your time settings and click on whether you want 'auto daylight saving' 'manual daylight saving' or 'no daylight saving'. Depending upon which one you select, you will get the result you desire i.e. the correct posting times.

thats where we started; i had selected auto daylight saving, and the time at the top was correct, but the posting times were not correct.
after nikhsub suggested i change to dst always on, it fixed it. so the auto setting didnt work for me.... |

Sorry I don't understand.
It sounds like you fixed it and it is all good now. If not please explain in detail what the problem is or try to change the settings yourself to sort it out.
