Not an expert, but that is one HOT Little car.
With the "S" badge on the back, I think she has a 1275 cc engine, and by the looks of the pipe, it's probably built up a bit too. I had one like that WAYYYYYY back when. I like small cars, but these are tiny. Little 10" rims. The rotors on my MINI were larger than that. In Vancouver, there are a couple Mini Cooper clubs, I see a few of these around in the summer. This looks like it gets a lot of LTC. Look at the reflections in the body. Nice & straight, especially where panels meet, no sudden jumps.

I just noticed the "John Cooper" signature on the bonnet stripes.
That baby would fly. Top speed not up there, but it gets there pretty quick.

Thanks for sharing Bob!! Andie has already agreed that when this about to be born is out of the car seat, I am getting myself a Cooper.

LOOOOVE the original Mini!!
Once my Jag is sold, that's probably what I am going to get. I like the wheels on it. They look almost identical to the OEM wheels on my Jag. (O.Z. Asteroid).

Daren, the MINI comes with a really cool car seat mechanism. They lock in with clips in the seat. PLUS the doors open 80 degrees, easy access to the back seat.
There's plenty of room in the back too. With on back seat folded down, I had a 27" TV in the back PLUS 3 people. It is only a 3 person car though. You can put an adult behind the passenger, but If your over CJ's height, and driving, you can't put anyone behind you

It sure is a no brainer in terms of making sure the car seat is secure. Apparently more than 50% of car seats are improperly secured. Scary! |
