Worth joining Omega forums or all the content here is enough?

Getting into this Speedmaster / Omega thing quickly; for those around here, are you active on Omega Forums too?

I find myself coming to RF for everything, including brands outside of Rolex, so sites like Breitling Source and Paneristi are obsolete to me. Is Omega Forums the same?

Yes, I am. I like the omega section here and the omega forums. There tends to be more on the vintage side on the forum, but it’s a good and interesting read with some nice characters.

I have been active on OF and TRF for years and enjoy the sections and discussions on both forums. I think the depth and breadth of Omega discussions on OF is quite a bit more thorough if you're into Omega.

I'm also active in both the Panerai subsection here as well as on Paneristi.

In general, I like the variety of thoughts and opinions between the different forums.

TRF is better for general overall watch discussions. Omegaforums can give you very detailed and specific things about Omega that you won't find here. However, the overall general watch content of other brands isn't as big.

I'm a long time reader/lurker of both forums and trying to be more active on both as time allows.

A lot of great content and information over on Omegaforums - I highly recommend it.

I'm on Omega forums but have yet to post anything. Agree with the comment on Watchuseek - that's a really nice forum

I don't think TRF subforum is enough if you want to know more about Omega.

Definitely more info and posts about Omega on their own forum.
Agree on what was said about about Watchuseek. Time zone is another one, but not as much traffic.

OF is the place to go for vintage info, hands down. TRF is more fun to me. I like both a lot.

Agree. The thing is, TRF is not enough because this is basically a Rolex forum and other brands are just 'guests'. We have Rolex general discussion, vintage rolex discussion, library, Rolex tech etc, so you have everything you can possibly want about the brand. On the other hand, about Omega you only have this subforum. Not a vintage forum, not a history forum, nothing. On top of that, the discussions here are focused on modern pieces, and I'm glad to see Omega inovating with their movements and giving us some nice watches from time to time but for a company established in 1848 with so many achievements and a fantastic range of vintage models, for sure our subforum here is not enough. It's only scratching the surface.

I'm on here,
Watchuseek and Omega.

Same name and photo on all 3.
I have nothing to hide.

Been a while since I frequented the forum, but Watchuseek’s Omega sub-forum usually had a decent level of activity.

OF is more in depth but the breadth of TRF is great. In terms of sheer volume of comments and users, Watchuseek is unparalleled. All are great in their own way.
