I'd have to say that Sydney Harbour is the most beautiful place I have ever seen.
I can imagine Lake Geneva must be similarly beautiful, and I guess the Great Lakes too.
I wouldn't mind a waterfront home on any of them.

Moved to Canada 10yrs ago. One of the best decisions I've ever made.

If I were to move again, probably Switzerland.

My pic is of Cronulla in the south of Sydney, much quieter than the harbour and beautiful

Been out of the US for +10 years now. Tough to for me to see anywhere but Tokyo has home.

Definitely things I miss about the US, but I don’t know that I’ll leave Japan.

We really appreciate it having been home bound for four months. We liked Tokyo, but we found Kanazawa, Kyoto and Kobe particularly charming. Highly recommended when things return to normal.

I was too, Queens, then Manhattan then BC. Calgary is Cold and snowy in the winter. Some great skiing nearby but COLD. Kelowna the same. Colder than the NY metro area and east coast, tho a 'dryer' cold.

Firstly, Calgary has low humidity. So compared to Eastern cities dry air feels less frigid than humid air. I once flew from Calgary to Vancouver (which is more humid) in Dec. While my friends all gravitate towards the southern US in winter, if I was going to move, I’d head to the north shore of Lake Superior or the Canadian Rockies. I much prefer the cold. I function much better at -30F than +100F.

Exactly, my father migrated to Canada in the late 1950's and my mother in 1969 as well when they married in Italy. We have a summer home and we have travelled countless times as kids and then as adults.
My wife is from there and we got married there 14 years ago, so my travels to Italy increased on a yearly basis since then as she can see her parents and sisters and now our children visit their grand parents and aunts and uncles.
When we travel there, it is anywhere from 3 weeks to six weeks. At the halfway mark of our travel, I cannot wait to get the hell out of there, in fact, last summer on our 4 week stay there, my wife started crying one morning with seven days to go, she said she wanted to come home to her adopted home, Canada. Even the Italian citizen could not wait to leave.
The populous will eventually rage you, not in the touristy areas where we are all pulled with the wool over our eyes, but day to day living will drive you mad! My Italian culture is a very elitist and snotty one, and I am allowed to say that as I have 100% Italian in my blood, just raised in canada. You will tire of it pretty quick.

I would never leave the United States of America.

Other countries are wonderful to visit and I have many favorites, but nothing for me beats the good 'ol U.S. of A.

I just moved to the Netherlands for work. Great country, supremely safe, relaxed attitude to things but still everything works. Hate the wind though.
