That black rubber strap does not seem to have the "pattern" of the Everest so I conclude it is a different brand. Yes fitment can be an issue, really affects the look. I tend to switch out bracelets to protect them but my TT SkyD is staying on the bracelet. Great photos BTW of all those strap options.

I have a small wrist but I don’t mind the size. I like wearing big watches. However, I will say that the SS version is probably one of the best values in watches with this level of branding and complications.

My advice is to try it on and decide for yourself.

Good luck!

Beautiful watch. What size is your wrist?

To buy or not to buy, that is the question.

I had an 8.5” wrist (lost weight and down to more like 8.25 now) and the SkyD is pretty much bare minimum in size for me. I had a Daytona and it looked like a ladies watch on my wrist. The SkyD is beautiful, masculine, and modern. For an 8”+ wrist, it’s a no brainer. I have TT Black BTW and absolutely love it. Only thing I’m now contemplating is trading it for a full Gold.

Oh and I got it for a discount at an AD. If I remember right, it was 15,250 USD from the AD. I also had 2 links put in. It fits a bit loose right now with the 2 links.

Anyway, happy 4th. I think you’ll love the watch. Forums are one thing, but in real life, this watch gets nothing but admiration and love (and I’m talking about watch/exotic car guys)

Update, went to my appointment, tried on the White face Sky Dweller, although very nice I still felt a sports/diver was my preference but also made me think that I liked the idea of a dressier watch, SA went away and came back with a new Bluesy, tried it on and felt that was the one for me an ideal balance, so after a 2.75 year wait I’m now the proud owner of a116613LB, will try and upload some pics.

Yeah I’m not sure how you compare a gmt + annual complication to a PP with just a subsecond?

The only kinda-real comparison is the 5990, but the complications there are not 1-1. A chrono is a more complex element than an annual calendar. The 5990 is also a very expensive watch, close to $100k on grey market, in SS. I, personally, value the annual calendar on this type of travel watch. The SD is also much cheaper, ~$20k in SS on grey and ~$35k in PM on grey. If you’re lucky to pay MSRP for the 5990 it may begin to be compelling. I also, personally, like the looks of the SD more than the 5990 but that’s subjective.

I must say, I've never been a fan of white-faced watches, but the Sky Dweller white dial is changing my mind.

Congratulations. Fantastic watch. It looks so much better in the metal than most photographs. It's comparatively diminutive by current standards but it is hefty for a 40mm and to my eyes looks nicely balanced on its big lugs.

Yes great looking watch, a bit more expensive than I was looking to pay though, as previously said a sports/diver was original preference as well.

Thanks Harry, on my quest reading through TRF I was put off a getting a 40 mm reference, but on my 9 inch wrist the Bluesy didn’t look out of place at all (my opinion) my 2 boys/men have both already put a claim on it so in time will try and get a DSSD
