Omega Seamaster 300 green face , delays

Any one actually getting these watches l ordered day of release in March and paid in full. Today I chased again and was told , Omega delays due to colour issues with bezel. May be 1st quarter 2023 .

Any one else hear this, or are the watches actually being released and I’m being fobbed off buy omega ?

I am supposedly getting one. But yes, taking loner than I was told too.

I did not hear about delays though. I thought I was just less of a priority, which is also very likely.

Interesting. What kind of color issues with the bezel? If they need to fix this at the manufacturing level, it could be awhile.

I put in a request with my AD back in June and got the call 2 weeks ago. I wanted it on the band and am waiting for that to pick it up. I’m very concerned now about the bezel issue now.

Not heard of this - and the boutiques in London have had watches in (I’ve handled both on strap and bracelet).

If you really want one, someone is selling on OF in the U.K.

That is interesting. Haven't observed any issues with mine, which was ordered online and came in 2 days. I've also spoken to my AD, who's been getting a steady supply of them (3 alone last week) and with an OB that offered me one on bracelet a few weeks ago. So it doesn't seem like there is a delay?

Haven't heard about any issues with the bezel...Mine took about 8-10 weeks to get it. I paid a full-price "down payment" in late July at the Dallas OB, and received it around late September / early Oct. I ordered it on the bracelet, and also w/ the green rubber deployment strap, which is what I have it on, now. Love it - it's a great look!

Anybody have any cool aftermarket straps on theirs yet? Got one for my dad for Christmas and want to find a cool strap, I don’t love the bracelet..

I don’t see any color problems with mine. I haven’t heard of this issue either. It’s worth the wait. I thought the SMP300 was too large at 42mm and didn’t buy one, but was tempted with the black. When I saw the green, I jumped. I’ve never looked back.

Rubber B makes some very cool straps specific for the Seamaster 300M. You could also likely get an Omega rubber strap from a dealer at a discount. Nato straps are also nice.

I ordered the green one 2 weeks ago and just got it today on the bracelet + short rubber strap + deployant clasp.

They bracelet model is in stock at the US Omega website. I also saw one in a boutique today on bracelet.

Looks like both bracelet and rubber straps are available online. Just got the call from OB and was offered the bracelet version. I asked for a rubber strap as well and they gave it to me free of charge.

I’m wearing my white dial on the rubber with the deployant clasp. It’s divine.

I inquired about one in October and the Boutique at South Coast Plaza called me 3 weeks later and I bought it.
I have a very small/ modest history with them and was surprised.
Paid retail obviously, but they threw in a separate green strap and the deployant buckle which I wear it on now.

I don't think the salesman was lying to me either but when I asked, he said they've only been getting about one per month and have no idea why

I tried one on at Oden Watches & Jewelry in Jackson Hole, WY yesterday. It was for sale and unspoken for. Really cool watch. I’ve already got a Seamaster so not super interesting to me, but they did an awesome job with the green color.

The case and bezel are green that often looks black so IMO the 'original' Bond (a la Goldfinger) with black, green, red stripes looks terrific on it (would look even better if 'Seamaster' and seconds hand tip were red as are on other 300M's). Clockwork Synergy offers a nice thick two piece nylon which gives that Bond vibe but without that annoying material (possibly two layers) which goes under the case and holds sweat.

Bought a Forstner bracelet for mine as the OEM steel bracelet is not to my liking but it’s mainly living on the green rubber strap.
