Is it the elephant in the room that only a tiny bit of the entire space launch system comes back for reuse? 50 years later you would think they design something that would be cost saving and perhaps a bit bigger than an SUV.

It's going to be a moonwatch. I read Rolex failed pretty quickly after the 3rd out of a dozen tests. No reason to think it's better now in terms of suitability for space use.
