I decided that even though I have a 40mm sub c and there’s quite a bit of overlap between the 2, I couldn’t say no….and picked up the new DSSD today.
It’s a little less redundant than I expected. The size fits me better IMO than the sub, and the dial is less black than the sub, in most like more charcoal, as if it’s matching the titanium case back.

Was a pleasurable experience. I initially registered interest 2 years ago, and had all but given up, so some financial tapdancing will be in order next month when the CC statement arrives. Lol
I suspect my 43mm Tudor Bronze will be looking for a new home.

Nice. Same here with the sub and DSSD. I can pull off the DSSD and I love the presence of it. So I skipped the sub and went for the DSSD as my daily. It’s a beast and I imagine, I’d break my wrist before I could break that watch.

I got my BLNR in January.....

I was told I had to wait a year, looking forward to reminding my AD my year is up soon.

These were within the last month. I take it as a sign that demand at AD decreasing a bit, and as expected on gold pieces first

Visited an independent Jeweller's with Rolex AD status in the UK, no previous history had been in the store before approx. 1 year ago, that said I spoke to a different SA, requested a Black Explorer II, got a call two weeks later, picked up last weekend, is this an indication that availability is on the up or was I very lucky?

thx.. i did buy my submersible from him and brought my friend who bought a new rolex from him also.. super good guy.. all that to say, IDK if I wanna pay that much over retail....or just hope to get on a list and wait it out....guess i need to put a price on that... the cost of "now "
