Thanks for the video! Love the new 5811/1G and the ladies 7118/1300R. That 7118 is breathtaking!

The 5373 and 5811 are fire. But is the 5373 a VTNR ? Lol

I expected more aquanat references… The 7968 rainbow… is just…. No Patek… this ain’t your thing

That’s perhaps the pick of a stellar bunch imo. I love the carbon detail on the dial.

The 5204G is incredible, but out of my price range sadly.

Trying not to think about the new nautiluses too much lol. Do I need a 5811? No. Does that stop me wanting to try and get one? Probably not.

Visually the 5811/1G looks exactly like the 5711/1A except for the date aperture and the 1mm difference in case diameter. From a distance of 5m, no one can really tell the difference.

I do expect to see a 5811/1R soon and the platinum version in 2026 (Nautilus 50th anniversary).

And how long more the 5712/1A is going to continue in the catalogue?

I think the shade of blue will be slightly different. The 5811 dial resembles the 40th anniversary more. I don’t think it’s that mind blowing a release for the nautilus line-up overall but on its own, without the immense anticipation prior to its release, it’s still a ULTRA STUNNING watch that is fitting as a successor to the 5711.

Wow, love the colour combination on the 5373P… but why does it have to be left handed?

5204G also a stunner. Too bad I can’t afford any of them

Have to compare side by side to see if there is any difference in the blue colour. I like it of course since it looks like the 5711. My wife loves the 7118/1300R though and I think that is a stunning watch. The salmon 5935A is special too.

Does anyone have any gauge on the rarity / production numbers for the gemset aquanaut?

I think the best release is the 5204G. Just the right colour of green for both the dial and the strap. The Rainbow Aquanaut is also stunning and I would not be surprised if men request one for themselves rather than for their partner.

I would say the only one that is slightly disappointing is the LHD 5373P...
Patek should not have done that after Rolex released the LHD VTNR. If it was a proper RHD Split second, QP, it will be so good but now there's a little bad taste in the mouth that Patek is a follower, not a leader...

I don't own a Patek yet, but their new releases look wonderful to me. Look forward to hopefully becoming an owner one day, the 5712 in rose gold is breathtaking!

Not that these are attainable at retail for most of us, but it's great to see some micro adjustment on the bracelet. Here's hoping AP follow course soon...

Yes! I’m aware that they have one in the museum, a LHD split second chronograph if I’m not mistaken. But so as Rolex with all the LHD examples that were made as a one offs/limited quantities.

The point here is that LHD watches wouldn’t be such a craze right now if it wasn’t for Rolex introducing the VTNR this year. The most recent LHD that I can remember in recent years before the VTNR is the Tudor Pelagor LHD and that didn’t drive Patek to release this LHD almost immediately.

So why now? It’s a great watch, don’t get me wrong. But Rolex set the trend for LHD watches. If only Patek had released this LAST YEAR, we wouldn’t be having this conversation.

I don't see an issue with Patek releasing a LHD watch shortly after Rolex. Rolex are a reputable brand who also make some amazing watches. Many Patek collectors will also own Rolex (myself included, for disclosure). Patek watches are meant to stay with you for a lifetime, so it matters little when they are released, and only that they live up to the expectations of their owners.

Now, as a righty these LHD watches just look *wrong* to me. But I'm happy for the lefties who will hopefully get to make use from the new functionality!

So there is no steel follow up Nautilus to the 5711 that is expected, maybe a future release?

You really think Patek have released the LHD because Rolex released a LHD piece?
