But you can get a very nice six (6) watch winder for around $150 usd. You see them in watch repair shops eveywhere..... they use them.

Why pay those prices ?

Does anyone have any experience owning a winder that has the 2 watches per winder model as oppose to each watch having its own winder. I am looking for a 6 winder but unsure if I should purchase one that has two watches on one winder. It seems that it would be hard to remove and replace one of the two without "disturbing" the other watch.

I have a four watch winder with two driving motors and a three watch winder with separate driving motors. I much prefer the three watch winder for the reason you noted. It's much easier to remove and put on a watch where it is driven by its own motor.

Watchwinder from private / Newmaterial unused...

I have to sell two beauty and big watchwinders. We ordered them with some (Watch)-friends. We ordered some componets like the nice shiny boxes and plates and let made all the technic, like chips, energy, ... from a german company build together.
I sell them for 180€ /p.c. ex Munich/Germany.

Here are some pictures:
this is my one
