GMT Master 2 bracelet links

Hi guys, wanted to seek some clarification. First off, I'm sorry if this topic has been discussed before. My 116713 is dated 2015, and I bought it pre-owned from a direct owner.

I counted 12 links on my 116713LN bracelet, as per pictures attached below. However, I've read on forums and my friends who own the GMT series as well 116710LN, BLNR, all seem to have 13 links on theirs.

Any GMT owners out there reading this thread? How many links do you have in total? I did read on a forum that older GMT's come with 12 links, newer ones come with 13. However I can't find any proof to that just yet. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I looked up the oyster bracelet model number, 78203 and it shows to have 13 links.

As of now, I seem to be missing one link. Would appreciate any help on this, thanks.

I'm pretty sure newer are a total of 12. 5/6 and 7/12 side. It least that's how mine came.

My new BLNR has a total of 12 full links excluding the easy link. 7 on 12 side and 5 on 6 side. Hope this helps.

BLNR purchased September 17, I have 12 links, not including the easylink as you did.

4 removable links on the 12 o'clock side, 2 removable on 6 o'clock. Looks like you're short 1 on the 6 o'clock side

+1 Same amount here. 13 links, one being the easy link.

The number of links on a the older GMT 16710s vary depending on the bracelet.

78360 Oyster has 13 links
78790 Oyster has 13 links
78790A Oyster (solid end links) has 13 links
93150 Oyster has 12 links
62510 Jubilee has 22 links

You re right! I went back and looked at his photos again. The shot where the OP shows 6 links is really only 5. He counted the EZ Link. So he has 5 links in that picture, 4 in the other and two in the bag. 5+4+2=11. He’s short one link. It should be 12 plus the EZ Link.

Thanks for the speedy reply guys. Looks like everybody has 13 links in total. 12 full, plus the easy link. I'm clearly short of one link here. I texted the guy whom I bought the watch from, he hasn't replied though.

What should I do? Ask for the missing link? Why would he keep it from me though. Ask for compensation? I don't like my sets to be incomplete. Should've done more research before purchasing.

If you really like the watch, keep it. I doubt the seller is going to give you the link. It would have been included in the original sale. I hope I'm wrong and he sends you one.

Do you need the link to make the watch fit, or do you just want a complete set?

If it's a complete set you're after, go to your nearest AD and have them order you one from Rolex. Not sure what a TT link goes for. Just be sure to bring the watch with you.

I texted the seller explaining the problem and asking for the link or some form of compensation (assuming the seller himself did not know and did not intentionally leave one link out of the sale).

He said he'll check with RSC and get back to me, lets hope for good news. I love the watch, and no, I don't need it to fit. Just like my watches to be in a complete set.

Let's hope for good news then, thanks for your help.

12 (7+5) on my 16710 from 2000. It fits my 7 3/4" wrist with a little slack (the way I like it). And of course it's the stock Oyster bracelet.
