Back in the fold with my only Rolex. Just got this after about 10 years hiatus from the brand.

Hey, new to the forum today. I have a GMTII and have just started considering a DSSD in the last couple of days but can't believe availability.....wow....£11 TO £12K for a 2nd hand model.....yikes . Anyone got any tips? Go on a waiting list?

Cheers...

Try a trip to the U.S. (or elsewhere) - in the U.K. SS models seem to be as rare as a supermodels smile.
I'm sure lots of knowledgable forum members will jump in here to give you some great advice...good luck with your search.

cheers

I’m ideally looking to buy new if I can....if any kindly soul happens to spot a new one at an AD anywhere, heads up would be much appreciated!

Tony from justrolexes has one for sale in the classifieds section I believe, can’t remember if it was lightly used or bnib but worth checking out...he’s one of the trusted sellers on here. I personally haven’t bought anything from him but folks have very positive things to say about him.

For all the desk divers who forget their tool watches are in fact tools.

Took a shot in the bright sunshine this afternoon... the dial almost looks all blue in this pic...then I go back inside and it's nearly all black... gotta love the DSSD - it's the watch that keeps on giving...

cheers
