Ever seen Rolex ADs located in 18th century British colonial buildings? You'll probably be shaking your head in disbelief to discover unexpected Rolex ADs entrenched in such places in the heart of George Town, Penang, Malaysia, now declared as one of UNESCO's prestigious World Heritage Sites. Many 18th / 19th century buildings were destroyed by fires over the years or damaged by the Japanese or Allied bombings during World War 2 . The Rolex ADs you see in the photos were established in the late 50s and early 60s

My state has 5. Some of us larger west coast/mid west states with a lot of land and where population is concentrated on one or two cities don't have as many doors as the more densely populated states so it may just balance out to be 400.

There seems to be a real inconsistency of AD facility requirements around the world. I was in Georgetown, Barbados recently and the AD had cheap costume jewelry, almost flea market like displays on the opposite side of the building. I don’t think Rolex USA would tolerate such.

As for your original question OP, there are a lot fewer AD’s than just a couple of years ago. In my market (Nashville) we went from five to one location within a couple of years.

There’s over a 100 AD’s in the U.K. alone so my guess is in the 1000’s. Between 4000 and 6000 wouldn’t seem out the way.
