i have 3 university degrees, even though i still cannot spell ( English isn't my first language obviously). I put myself thru UNI in England, and could never afford a Rolex at that time, did not even think about the brand. Mind you i had no time to shop, since i worked until 2 am every nights to buy food.
After that i put myself thru flying school, and had even less money.
i was living on $600 a month before paying for rent , food and bills...yes i ate lots of tuna cans, and Chinese noodles.
I only bought a Rolex last year at 44. ..but plan on buying a couple more.
if i could still leave on 600 a month, i could buy a couple of used Rolex a month...time have changed...

BSC engineering.
European degree of technology.
French engineering degree in public work.
Airline pilot licence.

A college degree would only offer me an extra 2% increase in annual income. Every promotion at my work is based solely on past performance. I don't have a degree, I have zero college debt, and I wear a 114060. Focusing on work instead of college is what has resulted in my past job promotions. The value of a degree is diminishing in today's economy IMO. It might get you in the door, but performance matters far more.

BA in psychology, MA in professional counseling.

No Rolex yet, I'm currently waiting on the right Datejust to pop up. I'm trying to take my time and get exactly what I want, as it will serve as a celebration of me finally working in the profession and role that I've been working towards for the last 8 years or so. Until then, I have a few Nomos' that are serving me well!

College degree...nowhere near intelligent enough to have one of them!!

It's my self-awarded degree in hard work and determination that has enabled me to fund this hobby

JD. Sub C no date and AK.

Why the Sub C no date? As a veteran trial lawyer once said to me, "Dress like you are going to church but don't want anyone to remember what you wore."
