Very tough, I have both (15202st and 16520 A series white dial) and I must say the AP looks real good and the dial color very nice, but there is also something about the zenith daytonas that make them special. I wouldn’t be able to choose between the two so I would say get both!

No wrong decision! However, Jumbo easier to get than a full set, mint Zenith Daytona!

I owned a black a series zenith Daytona and sold it because I couldn’t see what time it was and I am in my mid 30s :)
So I’d take the AP |

I own a Daytona and would pick the AP as I think the Zenith is over-rated.

As an owner of both, I keep the Zenith Daytona if I only had to keep one. The hand finishing may be better on the AP but as others have said, the AP is a lot harder to keep in perfect shape . Very delicate watch. Keep in mind, a well used Rolex always looks great. Little marks and scratches add character . On the other hand, a well used AP RO with scratches and dings looks like crap. The Daytona is a better investment as well. Look at AP in the secondary market. They don’t do quite as well.

Zenith doesn't hack and isn't an in house movement (hence name) so get a proper Daytona.
AP looks a amazing but much less water resistance, scratches more easily and is less robust. AP servicing will bankrupt you and may not be done by AP themselves as they sometimes get a third party to do it. You pays your money...

I’d go with the Daytona. I owned an AP Jumbo for a few years. IMHO, it’s too delicate for my lifestyle, so I flipped it and haven’t looked back. The Jumbo is a great watch, but it wasn’t for me.

15202 is amazing but in terms of future value I think the A serial Daytona is the ha Cs diw. Winner. If you decide AP and the 16520 is a white dial Pm me as I might be interested!!
