SunTzu - i had similiar concerns about the strap being green, or in this case too green - i went ahead and placed the order, and asked the strapmaker to make sure the green was really muted, heavier on the black. But i do want some green or a hint of green as a backdrop for the watch case.

The bezel is going to jump out visually no matter what strap is employed, unless it's heavy bright green.

I agree about stainless for divers, but the past year or two, i've learned to like the comfort (on the wrist) of a well made strap.

Any recommendation on aftermarket bracelet? the factory SEIKO bracelet is really not impressive to me specially at this price point. The clasp has no positive click like my other watches, and I have to double tap it to confirm the clasp is secured.

You can try Strap Code for Sumos. They sell a nice bracelet in various styles and finishes and clasp locking.

Sent from Crapatalk

This is "Lo Storica" from Di Stephano straps. 5mm thick and was soft as a baby's rear end & comformed to my wrist within 5 seconds of putting it on. Never had a strap feel this comfortable. She's got 3 or 4 other shades of tan, including the british saddle tan i suspect you're looking for
