Vintage Excitement

Guys,
With all the excitement by our next door neighbors on TRF with the new Tudor BB 58 release and anticipations, hopefully, with Rolex later during the year for modern issues I think it’s fitting for us to post our favorite vintage Rolex piece. No waiting lists and no Rolex hype and no AD doublespeak to deal with just our personal vintage satisfaction. So here is my 1603 from 1969. Post a pic of yours! Cheers.

Nice, AJ!

Mine is a bit younger [2001] but still considered vintage by some.

Perfect Dan. Doesn’t get any better than a Pepsi during the hot summer days and nights to come.

AJ, I can think of, like, nineteen things better than a Pepsi GMT on a hot summer day or night, but I do get your point

A classic from the 1980's. Worn daily for close to 30 years. I added the white dial in 2000. Much easier to read than the original champagne/gold stick dial. Full spa treatment last year.

I can get excited about some modern releases, but I'm underwhelmed by that blue BB58. I like the regular version much better, and I'm usually a sucker for blue dials.

For now, I'll stick to these, sun or rain.

Here’s one, a sharp mid-60s Sigma Wide Boy 1803 - No waiting lists, no bundling games, no nutty pricing, ... no problem!

Thanks - Me too! I happened to buy this one from one of our TRF Boutique sellers, who said the case and bezel were among the sharpest DDs of this vintage he had seen.
