Looking really nice. That tritium dial as that slight yellowish tone on the markers. I like it a lot when it's not overboard. That doesn't have much luminious abilities left though.
Here's my review of the 16610 (a bit newer with luminova dial). https://luxurywatches635.wordpress.c...ner-ref-16610/ Cheers!

Like my 16610 from 1995 the tritium will not light up in the dark. But other than that the watch is a tank, it is also slimmer and trimmer than the new ones.

The lug holes make NATO strap swaps a breeze, a classic piece. I bought my 16610, my first Rolex right after I graduated from college 23 years ago at my AD for $2500 and even though it has several brothers now I'll always consider it my core wrist weapon. Wear yours in good health.

I wear the exact same one. I have nicer, more expensive one, but this is the one I like and always comeback to. Great watch, super comfortable and will onl y get better overtime. Cheers.

Purchased my Submariner/Date in 2005. Absolutely no regrets. It’s part of my rotation.
