Rolex 16753 with 555 Endlinks
Hello fellow members,
I own a Rolex 16753 with jubilee-bracelet and 555 Endlinks in steel/gold(!!!). Is this possible or are they fake; to my knowledge Rolex never produced sg 555 Endlinks, or am I wrong? kind regards Florian |

I believe the end links 555 are for a Datejust which is a 36mm and your GMT is a 40mm although probably can manipulate it. You probably need 450 end links.

Your bracelet was probably swapped from another watch, 555 are for Datejusts. Look for the number 50 on the last link of the bracelet. If it’s not there the entire bracelet was exchanged and not just the end links.
Post pictures if you want to make sure it’s authentic. You need 480’s for an oyster bracelet or 450s for the Jubilee bracelet. |

555 end links are Stainless Steel, the proper TT ends would be 455 on a TT Jubilee 62523 bracelet for a Datejust. This bracelet would not have come on a 16753 GMT.

Ok, I guess something is off with the bracelet; hopefully only the endlinks because the claspcode matches the year of the watch...
Here are some photos....thank you: |

I guess my best case scenario is that it is a Datejust-bracelet with selfmade/aftermarket endings...

So the clasp looks off, the crown on the clasp is not something I have seen and the number of adjustments on the clasp is wrong. I think better pictures of the rest of the bracelet are needed to determine if it’s real. Most of the time it’s obvious with the tt bracelets.
Maybe others will chime in but I attached pics of two of mine so you can compare. Depending on the year of the watch it’s either 14 k or 18 k marked on the clasp. My 18k clasp is from a 84 GMT before that they were 14k for US. Maybe other markets are different. |

Thank you for your input Justin.
It seems that the clasp was poorly repaired in the past, but despite that fact I hope it ist authentic. I made more detailed pictures: |
