Just for a change of pace...

Don't get me wrong, I love the Nautilus as much as the next guy, but just for a change, I present to you a 5296G on a matte blue Camille Fournet strap. If you have an itch that needs to be scratched without waiting for several years, go pick one of these up, probably at a discount! It is clean, it is simple, it has perfect proportions, you can dress it up or down...

Very nice! Looks like the dial wears bigger than 38mm. Wear it in the best of health!

Love the sector dial too.

It does. Being pretty thin with a thin bezel, I'd say it wears more like a 39-40mm piece.

The 5296 is my favorite calatrava by far. Your combo especially so.

That is very, very nice! I do toy with the idea of getting a nice, simple gold (white or yellow) Patek Calatrava to wear when going fancy.

Thats a weird looking nautilus. Thank god finally a good thread. Beautiful calatrava.

Patek doesn't want to be a one watch brand like AP. That is why the nautilus is so scarce. That is why they aren't increasing production of the nautilus. So that we consider other pieces. Thierry's words not mine.

Just for a change of pace...

I have been hunting for a Nautilus as my first Patek. As all of us know, it will be years for one at an AD. Paying a premium thru a grey dealer was not an option for me.
Given the same movement as the 5711 plus precious metal, 5296 was a nice option for me.
The wait for the Nautilus continues......
