Correct date code for bracelet
I have a 1675 that originally had a folded-link bracelet, presumably a 7836. That bracelet wore out rather quickly and was tossed years ago. I'm thinking about locating a replacement to keep my watch as period-correct as possible. The question is what date range would be considered acceptable for this watch:
Case back: IV.68 SN: 2.32m (probably 1969) Purchased new: 01/1971 (Hong Kong) I'm thinking a bracelet coded between 1968-70 would work, but preferably 1968-69. Any thoughts would be welcome. |
