new to me Datejust

Picked up this lovely Datejust today from my jeweler today. It is polished and the bracelet was upgraded to a newer TT 18k, but I was taken by the intensity of the dial. It is plays a radiant purple. Excited to add a little additional color to my collection. More pics to come.

I would like to see another pic of the band... And what do you mean by "upgraded" ? Is it a Rolex band?

Thank you. That is the first I have seen the use of Sigma dial. I will have to research.

As for my note on an "updated 18k bracelet." I'll take better pictures in natural light when I pick it up. The bracelet is definitely Rolex just in 18K v the original 14k.

As this will be one of a small number of dress watches, the bulk of my collection is subs, I will look for an appropriately colored strap to wear with suits. Nothing like a great dress watch for the appropriate situations.

Thanks all.

I had not seen one. It was unique enough to grab my attention.

The serial number puts it at 1972.
