I've seen some 1555 movements with 1560/1570 bridges, Rolex use spares in transition?
During transition periods such as early 1960s, I've seen apparently all original movements with one or two contemporary interchangeable parts. They all appear to have left factory together. Is this right? Any thoughts?

It's not just transition models.. Rolex is known to use like parts that may have different numbers throughout the 50's-60's-70's.
I suppose the idea is that owners/non-watchmakers have no business in there and so the number isn't that important..
