Submariner 1680 box

I've been on the hunt for a period box for my 1680 sub. I managed to find this box for 450$ at a nearby retailer. Now although the outerbox appears to be correct in inner one has a design unlike any of thr other vintage boxes I've seen. Could anyone enlighten me as to which model does it correspond to?

Welcome to the Forum!

I would prefer to see a Bufkor box for a late 70s sub (1680) or green striped box for early to mid 70's.

What year production watch are you trying to find a box for? That may be the easier question..

The box is an early 1980s box. If your serial number begins with a six, it could be correct. A Bufkor box would be correct for a USA watch.
