Dating a Rolex bubble back
Can any one help to date one of my Rolex bubble back watches
It has 2 letters before the serial no ?? But I know it is a older watch ?? Thanks Jon |

In all seriousness, this isn't a bubbleback, it has a cal. 1066, which is from the later '50s. You can date the watch by identifying the case serial number between the lugs at 6:00. On the opposite side between the lugs is the case reference number. Is this a solid gold 6605 Datejust, by chance?
