Just Received 50th FOIS band question

Ok so I just received my first Omega from Greg and it's a FOIS.

The band is 19mm, is this size common to all Moon watches or just FOIS?

19mm is kinda rare, so would you replace the band with a 20mm or 18mm?

Looking a C&B vintage leather 2 piece.

Thanks in advance guys.

I have regular speedy professional moonwatch and FOIS/CK2998. Speedy is 20mm and the FOIS/CK2998 is 19mm

19mm is a bit of a pain with straps but you can find them. When in doubt in use 20mm on the FOIS. As I don't like the gap of a 18mm strap on 19mm watch

Thank you! I'll order a 20mm leather strap, 2 piece from C&B.

I have the FOIS and recently put a 20mm strap on it. A tad tight, but fits fairly well.

All strap options from the Speedmaster 40mm Racing series as well as the previous Date and Day-Date series are 19mm. Additionally I've seen the Speedmaster Racing SS bracelet on the FOIS and the CK2998, it fits perfect and looks awesome. only downside is Omega straps and bracelets are a little pricey, but the are very well made. Enjoy your new watch...

Thanks guys, the presentation of a Omega watch is unreal! Great looking watch but can hardly believe the quality of the box that came with the watch.

Tried looking for a 19mm Omega NATO strap, no luck. Guess C&B is it.

I immediately removed the OEM leather strap when my FOIS arrived four years ago. Since then I've found that most 20mm straps will work but I prefer the vintage look of the Omega ref. 1125/560 bracelet combo:

I'm just glad that I bought the bracelet before Omega jacked the price up.

Thank you for sharing this.

Received my 20mm strap today. It does fit snug, but looks great.

In case anyone was wondering what a suede strap looks like on the FOIS (20mm strap).
