Had this little gem of a Pinot this evening with my bride for Valentine's Day.

It did NOT disappoint. Decanted for about an hour and it opened up superbly.

Thanks Trace!!

Getting to know the local wine shops and got lucky today. Here, straight from Southern Rhone area of French was found today in Fort Lauderdale.

One of my most favorites reds. 2009 and 2010 were fantastic and if this is just half as good i'll be ecstatic..

Tonight's Birthday Dinner Selection....

1996 Niebaum-Coppola Rubicon

The bottle was given to me personally by Francis Ford Coppola on my birthday in 2002. Cool thing is he does NOT sign autographs, so I was truly shocked when he handed it to me! Its definitely a special bottle in my heart!

Decanted it for a half hour, and it's drinking superbly!

Cheers everyone!

Opened this little gem this evening with a great friend of mine who LOVES Cabernet Franc.

G wine cellars 2011 -- small production (~1500 cases total production) -- ~500 ish bottles. Really showcases what a Cab Franc can be. Highly recommend.

Cheers all!!

I'm not really a bottle saver, but I did take the label off the bottle, and will forever treasure it as a keepsake.
