top chronograph in the game IMHO ;) I own both but the 26320 is definitely my favoured chronograph.

Daytona -- I'm not an Aquanaut guy...now if a Nautilus was an option...different story...

Love PP but not a fan of that particular reference. 5711 would have been a tougher call for me.

I personally agree. But it would probably got to a Nautilus 5712 or 5726 if they were sitting in front of me 😬👍🏼

I own a 15300 so I'm a big RO lover 👌🏼

Funny, I overlooked both the 5712 and 5726 for the 5711. More space for that gorgeous blue dial ;)

Can't argue with that! I was just trying to stay on the chronograph topic..but the 5711 is truly iconic. Either way I'll take any 😏

Daytona C White Face for me!

Hi Dave,

I noticed your poll thread and I had to post the two watches side by side to show you that you simply can't choose neither av them, but instead you have to go for both! hehe..

Just recently got my 5167 and I will be having my Daytona-C next month. The Daytona-C seen on this photo is my friends watch that he also got this week. I'll be looking forward to get mine in a few weeks.

To me this is a great duo and will just fulfill each other!

Cheers and hope this pic helps!

Yup yup, the 5712 is gorgeous, I am hugely bias as I have one myself.

If I had to rank I would say:
1 5712 SS for its versatility, it's unique dial layout, it's sleek appearance and scarcity. It's just such a sexy watch.
2. AP ROC 26320 blue dial, it's hard to locate but well worth it.
3. 5167 (make sure you get the bracelet version that could be fitted with the rubber strap as well.
4 Daytona C (I am in the minority here, the ceramic bezel does very little for me, I prefer the 116520.

Fixed it for you

I own a 5167, and have a Platona on its way to me.

I'd get the Aquanaut over the D500 !

when you put an r in the picture it just changes the thing from being a tough choice into a no brainer.

Name recognition may be a wash but PP is clearly a higher end brand. Need to be unbiased here.

The Aquanaut is a very unattractive model, it sold in tiny numbers for many years (even by PP standards) perhaps because it became know as the AquaWart to Patek aficionado's, and its looks did not appeal to others. It's sales have risen in recent years due to additional complications and metals. When I look at each individual design element, then the combination of them together I cannot find a single thing to like + add in that for a sports/active lifestyle model PP's have very poor wear and tear when compared to a Rolex or many other brands. Oh they're finished nicely, counts for absolutely nothing for me!

Aquanaut - it's a great watch to wear on a daily basis (but you can easily wear it with a suit and look sharp), it is under the radar (the only people who would ever notice it are real watch enthusiasts), the design is terrific with lots of very clever details, and it's not a mainstream default choice.

Another clueless post of yours bashing the Aquanaut with absolutely no basis in reality.
