I took a break from the hobby and sold some stuff, but then came back with a vengeance. Conclusion for me is there is no walking away from it!

Lol.. Agree. I could care less about cars. I reduce my hobbies to working out and watches.

I'm too poor after buying watches; I can only afford a gym membership

Yeah I know the feeling, in France it was either this or getting fines becaue you are going more than the speed limit, so not for me, in Odessa you don't have too many cops or traffic jams, but the roads are not great, you would kill any sport car in a very short time, so here you can get 4*4's, but in any case I will never put cash in cars, it's money wasted IMHO, if I was much richer sure, but that kind of cash I can't afford to put in sport cars which will devaluate faster than light speed

Yeah, in Paris it was the same thing, I had but all is done to make your life crap when you are in car, so I had but used rarely, was 80% of the time on my bike

Get the car(s) you want. The watches will always be there when you want to jump back in. I've been dipping in and out a lot myself recently because of other hobbies.

100% agree and the experiences you can have while driving / tracking are wonderful. Watches are always there and going nowhere. Some vids of me driving should help show the fun @ track

If cars are the thing for you now, go as deep into them as you can afford and enjoy them. If/when they play out, move on to something else of interest.

I'd be pleased with the two in your stable now. Sell the Pateks if they aren't singing though. If you are getting another car, go NA. 2017 gt3rs ultraviolet

If only there was a complication that allowed a fine watch to chime the sound of a v12 Ferrari.

Problem solved!

The red is the 488.

Im wearing my 5905. Thinking to consolidate to 2 watches- 5524 and 5270. then dump the rest into cars.

That is a great idea. The 5270 is the pinnacle. Lovely car. Makes my 911 look like a Yugo.

I'd go for this, I get putting 150K in ONE great car, but selling all your watches to have 2-3 great cars I don't get, at least your watches should keep their value, while cars, except a few rare ones, loose like crazy, or in that case pass your motorcycle driving license, and for much less you'll have the same thrills or more, I am more Harley Davidson myself, have a 48, but japanese bikes are crazy also, and for a cool bike count 12-15K, but the SLS is awesome and you have the Ferrari for speed and showing off, you only need a bike, but a bike needs skills and balls, if I counted the times I could have died...

Your post with pics beat me by a few seconds! I was glad to see pics posted as my post went up. Such a beauty!

You still only need one watch I support your decision of consolidating.
