Need Some Spring Bar Help Please

I bought a Rolex 63200 Super Jubilee Bracelet for my 1989 Rolex 16710 GMT Master II with holes in the lugs. I wanted to remove and store the original 62510H Bracelet with 502B End Links which are in excellent shape so it did not experience stretch when I wore the watch. The 63200 Super Jubilee Bracelets are stronger but the "fat" spring bars that were in the original 62510H and 502B End Links do not fit through the new 63200 Super Jubilee Bracelet. Any help and guidance for me to acquire a pair of spring bars that will fit tightly through the 63200 Super Jubilee Bracelet and open to the ends of the holes in the lugs of the 16710 GMT Master II would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried contacting Otto Frei or Esslinger? They may be able to help.

I looked into this as well. There are several threads on the forum regarding the topic, but my takeaway is the best you can do is find some bars from an older datejust (with lug holes), if you want the bars to actually extend into the case like the orig. fat bars. These will be smaller in Diameter though, which is good for the bracelet, but not quite as good for the case. Should be fine though...lots of others have done the same.

I believe there is actually two versions of the bracelets that fit both the 36mm and 40mm cases. Or at least the last link is different. They take different size of spring bars. I have encountered this on old folded bracelets.

This might have changed! I have also noticed that this is automatically corrected on my 78360 bracelet that fits both a DJ and a GMT, but you have to have the correct end links!
