You might be the only person on the internet who actually doesn't really want the D500 he's getting.

Congrats! (I'm not sure what for after reading all of that, but I'm pretty sure someone is or isn't getting something or not.)

Let's hope they don't 'demand' you have it engraved. There's another thread from another member here confronted with that unreal scenario.

Your Daytona isn't a bad patch either, you should be going for new Daytona 116500 LN. You may buy of the updated models of your sold watches later if you like but if you dismiss the Daytona it would take many years for you to pick up unless you are willing to pay for exorbitant price

Can anyone explain why the 116520 market has gone so crazy?
I can understand the hype / waiting lists etc for the Daytona C but why is the outgoing model (several years old) now selling for £11k+ It's becoming cheaper to buy a used TT Daytona |

Sell the Speedmaster...and perhaps your first born. This way you will have the discontinued Zenith, the discontinued SDC4K, the new Daytona 500, and...save on that college tuition!!! Hehehe!
I've thought about it too, but just don't think I could trade my SDC4K for the Daytona! |

Congrats in advance, I'd also opt to sell the zenith, but obviously do whatever makes you happy.

No offense but the Daytona ceramic does not appeal to me. I do not get why the hype. The dial is too crowded for me but then to each his own. I love simple clean dials like the Sub or the Base nautilus. To each his own. Congrats still, as long as you are happy, so are we.
