Incoming Diver

My OB called me to take a look at the Casamigos so I went in to look at it. It’s a beautiful piece. I would have bought it in a heartbeat but I already own a Deep Black and it’s basically the same watch. While I was there I tried on a Sedna Gold Dover 300 and wow! I knew right away I wanted it. It’s a nice combination of sporty and dressy.

Congrats and good call. Sedna gold is also starting to call my name. Wear it in great health.

It just occurred to me that the shade of the blue accents on this piece are very much in line with Panerai's recent identity change.

That black and Sedna gold looks amazing. If this doesn't fit too big on my wrist, it may be my next.

I love this color combo.

Seems Omega is enjoying similar colors too since that deepsea challenge reveal a couple days ago.

Love the Sedna. The two tones with rubber are outstanding value. Less so with bracelet, but that looks fantastic. Congrats

Thanks! It's a little big for my wrist but the rubber strap helps me pull it off. I don't really notice when watches are too big for me. I've had some people comment but I have skinny wrists so I can't let it stop me from buying what I want.

The watch looks good. What's the bottle? Is that an Omega thing?

It’s a bottle of Casamigos tequila. I don’t know what the relationship is, but this Planet Ocean Deep Black is a LE if 80 pieces in collaboration with Casamigos tequila. I think that’s the brand that George Clooney started. Maybe someone who knows more can connect the dots.

It's a $11K bottle of tequila and they thrown in the watch as a gift...

Congrats! Just curious...did you ever consider purchasing it with the bracelet or did you simply prefer the rubber strap? If so, why?

I think if you like the bracelet then it totally makes more sense to buy it with the bracelet. But I knew I would never use it with the bracelet so opted for the rubber strap.

Have you tried it on?

Beautiful watch. I was offered one at the Chicago boutique a couple of weeks back, but passed on it for the PO "Big Blue" I purchased instead. Seeing these pics makes me question that decision. :/

No, I had the previous SMP 300 model and I wasn’t big on the bracelet. I prefer bracelets that taper but I know that the new bracelet has been redesigned so I’ll have to try it on. I do like the look of the rubber strap.
