A Milgauss homage via Amazon

Is the Milgauss available from Rolex dealers if you stroll in and ask for one? Between the lack of inventory and the pandemic, I just don’t frequent ADs. This one scratched my itch for two digits. A little embarrassed because I prefer the real McCoy.

That’s an interesting purchase you made. If you’re a little embarrassed, I will be too for you!

I would say I have a pretty decent relationship with my AD and she told me a story about promising one to a couple celebrating a huge anniversary in the summer of last year for March of this year, thinking they'd definitely at least get one. Lo and behold, not a single Milgauss has been delivered during that time.

They have received plenty of Datejusts, Subs and even GMTs (obviously demand is far outweighing supply, so they're all spoken for by the time they've arrived), but not a single Milgauss in that time. So it's not for a lack of inventory, save for a lack of that one specific watch.

Other AD miles may vary, but that's how it is at this specific AD on that model.

Thank you for that update. In my infrequent jaunts to Rolex ADs over the last four years, I have seen few watches of interest in cases. That includes the Milgaus. I will wear my humble homage and daydream about the way things might have been.

Fortunately, I own a nice Rolex collection from pre-shortage days. Sub, Bluesy, BLNR, DJ2, polar Explorer II.
