"How about releasing my ex on him?"
Love that line - seriously now, keep us updated..... these things can take a while... been directly involved in one such situation which was solved in my favour after 6 months and a second indirectly which is sadly still (temporarily) unsolved... whereby an Eddie Bertagna (AUS) never sent an Omega PO to Etienne Spiteri, my mate in Malta. Sorry if I appear to have hijacked a little...... but I feel for you TGT - it may take a while but if you don't ever (EVER) give up you can win. Fingers crossed.... I know we'd all like to bash this prick (woops - excuse poor language choice). Harlan 'True - I'm not a good example, but consider me a terrible warning' - Harlan |

It is sad to hear of horror stories like this. But on a positive note it is empowering to see the swarms of positive comments and willingness to help from all of the wonderful members on TRF.
People that pull stunts like this are SCUM and do not deserve the right to be able to be part of this community or wear a luxury timepiece. Too bad this did not occur in Jersey, if so there would have been a few black sedans in this guys driveway waiting for him. The best we can do now is just hope for the best and keep our eyes out for any new information on this cockroach! -Frankie |

I too participate in other forums, just like this, and it is intersting how like minded people stick together and help each other out.
Hopefully you will get your money or your watch through various sources here. One bad apple does not the whole bunch make. Cheers, Jim |

Did the problem go away?
We seem to have a story without an ending.

Obviously Pitterpatter had bad intentions or he already paid you or at least return your watch AND HE DID NOT RESPONDED AT ALL. I hope you'll get something at the end of this mess.

Wow, I would have been on the next flight there had I been in your situation, even if it cost me more then the watch was worth. You're far more patient then I am.

Was he to send finds via US Mail? Did you send the watch US Mail? If so, the USPS has the biggest baddest cops round. Be sure to file mail fraud charges.
