Rolex Submariner 14060 Review (Sort of)
Hello everyone,
Just wanted to share with you my joy and relief after months of searching and drooling over the Sub no date. I finally found one with some patina sneaking into the markers perfectly (not noticable in picture) and in an overall very good condition. I just can't take it out of my sight, much less my wrist. With more pictures to come soon, please check out my first Submariner and thanks for taking a moment to visit this post😀👍 ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks guys! One quick question though and not sure whether I should start a new thread for this but was wondering if these older 14060 subs, mine is an E Serial, should run within COSC standards at all, although I know that they aren't officially certified.
Appreciate your responses- Cheers! |

Hi and congrats on acquiring a classic. My 14060m is one of the last before the ceramics, and I'm so glad to have it, a great piece. Hope you enjoy every tick.

They are truly mesmerizing, specially in person! So far, my Sub is running 3.2 per day within COSC.
I hope that its value continues to rise considering that they're no longer in production (14060 and 14060M)👍 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'm torn between this and the 16610 dated.

Does anyone know what how old a watch should be to be considered vintage?

Looks like your hands have been replaced? To me it looks like the dial has more patina than the hands. Just an observation and I may be wrong. Beautiful piece though!

Nice, I just acquired a 14060 as well and it is THE watch to daily wear for all purposes. I would not consider this watch vintage. Vintage would probably be 25yrs and older or 4 digit Rolex reference numbers.
