IWC Portugieser 7 days - discontinued?

I have noticed that the IWC Portugieser 7 days is gone from the current collection in the US website. Instead, it is listed under past collections. E.g.: https://www.iwc.com/us/en/past-colle...automatic.html.

Does anyone know when this happened? I haven't seen any news about this. Do you expect a new version to be released soon?

Wow. I think you're right: it's gone from the collection. It's unusual for a maker to drop an outgoing model before an updated one is introduced, so I'll be interested to see what happens here.

I used to own one. It turned out not to be my kind of watch (as much as I wanted it to be). A colleague and fellow watch enthusiast refuses to forgive me for trading it away. He loved it.

Nice watch and one that I have owned several times. No clue as to why it would be discontinued.

It's a mainstay of their lineup, a new iteration will come.

Agreed. No way this is just silently killed off!
