submariner lv

Should i go for the submariner lv or the new ceramic submariner and why? Also if i were to wear the rolex everyday would it get scratched, or is it true that if it is taken for polishing all the scratches will be removed?

Thanks

I have and like the old style. Of course your watch will become scratched and yes it is true that it will look new again after service.

I personally like the old style.

Don't worry about the scratches. Enjoy the watch!

Good Luck!

I own the old version of the Submariner LV and prefer it over the newest version. The new version is beautiful, no doubt but lacks the versatility of the old one. The older Sub LV is both green and black or it can be all black by changing the aluminum bezel to black as opposed to the green. I wear mine all black for half the year and then change it back to the original green insert. It is like having two watches in one. The new version is simply all green, face and bezel.

Big fan of the ceramics here, but you can't go wrong with either. Always fun to make these decisions!

If it were me I would buy the LV Sub as it's days are numbered. You can always buy the new Sub later on.

My local dealer still has the old LV but is it a discontinued model or no?

Both watches are beautiful and would be fun to own but if I have to make a choice the older model would get my vote. You can always buy the new version at a later date!!!

Yes the LV Sub (old style) is not made any more. Only the ones left in the stores are left that's why I said it's days are numbered.
