Most Rolex watches as CSOC certified. This means they should not lose any more than 4 seconds a day, or gain more than 6 seconds.

Your GMT is within specs. Can it be tweaked? Sure. A lot depends on your wearing habits. A good watchmaker can adjust it for you if it bothers you.

I'd have it tweaked too - after all, the COSC specs are nowadays, with all these quartz watches, a little on the generous side.
I don't see why it shouldn't be set to between +/- 2 secs a day IMO. |

I believe that almost any fast-beat (28,800) Rolex can be easily regulated to within a couple of seconds per day..
Yours is at the extreme of COSC spec tolerances at about 5.7 seconds per day. Take it in and have it regulated...you will be much happier.

Part of the joy of owning a COSC Rolex is setting it to the atomic clock on Monday morning at work!!
I like that part! Mine is never off more than 2 to 3 seconds per day. Usually slow.

My IIc has been slow (1) one second per day since I purchased it. At first it bothered me but now I've learned to live with it and it's ok that my watch does not have OCD like it's owner.
