Incoming!!!!

I’ve been wanting this watch ever since the LE came out back in ‘16, but always thought it was over priced for what it was. It was approaching RO territory money and I wasn’t about to drop that kind of cash. Then the non LE came out and was a few grand cheaper. I tried it on several times and was always smitten by it and was once offered an okay discount at the AD in Dallas on one but passed on it because it had a scratch on the bezel. Fast forward a few months and I went back into the AD to see if they had one in and see if they would discount again, but they didn’t have it in. A couple weeks later I was browsing the classifieds here and saw one for an incredible price and jumped on it. It is awesome and so happy to have it in my collection, especially at the price I got it! Without further ado...

I freaking love this thing...the Girard-Perregaux Laureato.

Great looking watch. I really like it. What’s your wrist size?

I just tried the 42 mm today and it looks big on my 6.5 inch wrist. Surprisingly the lugs don’t extend past my wrist but the watch case looks big.

7 inch wrist..I have the 42 MM. The only thing it needs is a micro adjustment...but it looks great on my wrist I feel.

Man, just do it...it’s an awesome watch. I’m sure there are haters with this watch, but I don’t care much about that.

Agree 100%. Buy what you love, not what everyone else does. The problem is I just bought 2 Panerai’s last week! I am going to see Dan tomorrow though. That’s always dangerous. Enjoy the watch.

What are you looking to get from Dan? I was just in there yesterday to drop off my zenith Defy. Seems like there is a winding issue.

Wasn’t looking for anything in particular, just like to go look around every once in awhile. Today I could no longer resist the pull of the 690. It’s my own fault, I knew the risks, but what a beautiful watch.
