We all know Rolexs approach to PR/commentary but this really ought to be a full time job given how important the vintage market, vintage value, has been to the Rolex brand and modern Rolex market.

The job would be a combination of historian, arbitrator, and PR spokesperson.

Agree. They should focus more on vintage value and stop ruining people's vintage watches at service.

But Rolex famously/unfortunately doesn't give two hoots about the vintage market. Their business is in selling new watches and servicing. The second-hand market makes them zero dollars a year.

Just saw this as well, I'm sure it will be gone ASAP. I wonder if it's one they sold before, have to check the serial.

Edit: They sold this one before. Dials are identical (12 o clock 2 small dots/marks and the hands)
