Gorgeous!

What causes the bezel to fully loose its color like that?

Absolutely superb.

The question is, where do you go next when you've found the perfect example of what you wanted? #FirstWorldProblems

Thanks for the encouragement guys, this one has been a bit of a pet project during Covid. I bought it as a beater from Don over at VRF about 5 years ago. I wanted a robust 4 digit I could wear everyday in my workshop but it needed a service (thanks Yuri for your input on the misaligned date ) well one thing lead to another with a period correct dial being sourced, then a case renovation, new insert, correct hands etc. Once I started I couldn't really help myself
