If you email the boutique you can try to reserve one

Excellent idea, just googled the Ginza location and the address was there. Will give it a try.

Well, Ginza replied and they can reserve a blue one for me. I mentioned a preference for green or red, but they said they only had blue. They told me to make a reservation one week before my son arrives. Will report back! son leaves in two weeks, will be there for 2 weeks.

Sounds promising! You can also email omega@haneda-airport.jp and ask them. The problem with them is that they won't hold it. So in essence there's no reason to email them. They email me every few weeks to let me know that they received a panda but unless someone I know is in the airport at that moment knowing it's there doesn't do anything.

Good luck in your search and looking forward to hearing good news!

OK, I didn't flake out. Dropped off son at LGA this morning and he has my reservation for a green one! After they said they could reserve a blue one and to reach out a week before he arrives as they can only reserve for 10 days, I waited until earlier in the week and said my son will be in Tokyo as of the 15th and I would really prefer a red or green, they gave me a reservation number beginning with GR (which I am assuming is green). Hope to have pics from him soon.

That's so funny I was just thinking about you this morning because I received an email this morning from the OB in Haneda and they said that they just received a red one and a black (panda) one. They associate the colors with the bezel.

I would love to see the green one!

Looks like the black (panda) is the most sought after, was even reading on Omega forum that they may be sold out. Hope my 18 year can "secure the bag"!

Son called at 5:00am from the OB in Ginza. They had my green one reserved and also had a black and blue for sale. Was able to get the tax back so total damage was the list price. Son's pic skills need work, but here's what he sent...will post a few more when it's in my hands.

After I complained about his picture taking skills, he immediately shamed me into getting him a new phone! He's earned it. Very excited to get it in hand in 6 days. It's in the 500's (out of 2020)

Looks great! Also red is available at a couple of the department stores if you are interested as well if the boutique is sold out (Matsuya and maybe Mitsokushi ) as of a couple days ago

Thanks Fanforlife. Son was already hinting that the black and gold would be a good change of pace from his black sub! I do like the look of the red in pics.

The one you will never see in the shops is the most sought after. But come on, they are a long shot to be collectible. Omega comes out with way too many special editions.
